Avis Robertson, 87, of Louisville, passed away on September 14, 2015. Avis was born on January 30, 1928, to the late Otto and Bessie Cottle. She was a music lover, enjoyed cooking, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Avis studied genealogy on both sides of her family, and her favorite annual activity was attending a family reunion in Alabama.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Janet Neumann.
Survivors include her children, Janet Warren, James M. Robertson, and Elizabeth Anne Robertson; sister, Billie Cooper; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Andalusia, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Hope Health Clinic (1025 Sanibel Way #E, La Grange, KY 40031).
