Austin Ray Anderson, 27, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. Austin was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, and friend. He had a passion for motorcycles and loved to live in the moment. Austin worked with JCPS transportation as a special needs bus driver and loved each of his students. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard and was devoted to serving with his brotherhood. No matter the task at hand, Austin gave it 110% effort. Austin will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He was born on January 14, 1998 in Louisville, Kentucky to Shawna (Brooks) Anderson. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Wilbur and Juanita Macy.
Austin is survived by his loving wife, Katelin Anderson; son, Levi Anderson; mother, Shawna L. Anderson; brother, Tyler (Courtney) Schmidt; grandparents, Sheila Macy, Jerry (Paulette) Brooks, Dan (Denise) Anderson; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of his life will be at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home with full military honors.
