Ashley Nicole Hodges, born on February 23, 1984, joined her dad on May 18, 2025. She was a vibrant soul, known for her open, bubbly personality, and the uniqueness that set her apart—truly, a firecracker in every sense. Ashley embraced life with an exuberance that resonated with all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
She held a profound love for her children, who were her proudest accomplishments and the very heart of her existence. Each day was an opportunity for Ashley to share her passion for life and create lasting memories, whether through joyous celebrations or the simple delight of everyday moments. Among her cherished memories are the lively Nerf wars held at Gigi's house, where laughter could be heard echoing through the halls, a testament to her playful spirit. Christmas was her favorite holiday, a time she celebrated with unparalleled enthusiasm, basking in the joy of family and festivity.
In her leisure, Ashley found joy in the artistic expressions of doing her nails and hair, attending to the details that brought her pleasure. She also reveled in the companionship of music and the inspiring world of YouTube, where she could explore myriad interests and share in the creativity of others.
Family and friends are invited to honor Ashley’s remarkable life at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272. Visitation will be held on May 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a memorial service beginning at 5:00 PM.
Ashley Nicole Hodges leaves behind not only her beloved children but a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. Her spirit, ever infectious and inspiring, will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Grubb; grandparents, Doris and Roy Grubb and grandfather, Elree Doner.
Ashley leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Jordan Hodges, Lexi Hodges, Kali Huff, granddaughter, Harper Gale; mother, Teresa Grubb; sister, Kasey (Chris) Gibson; half-brothers, Jeff Grubb and Jason (Janelle) Grubb; grandmother, Barbara Doner and grandfather, Merle (Marie) Hornback.
