Ashley Anne Ward, 26, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. She enjoyed collecting angels, loved listening to music and anything to do with Harley Davidson.

Ashley was born on October 27, 1987 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to David "Tony" Ward and Ronette Anne Smith. Along with her parents, she is survived by her son, Matthew Ward; brother, Michael Diehl; grandparents, Iola Sisson Linda Stark, Jerry Ward and Beverly Sherrard; great-grandmother, Juanita Miller; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 6 PM on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at 10 AM Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kosair Charities (982 Eastern Parkway, PO Box 37370, Louisville, KY 40233-7370).
