Arvile Kenneth Rudolph, 82, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019. Arvile was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a devoted IU basketball fan and enjoyed gardening.
He was born on March 17, 1937, in Palmyra, Indiana, to the late George and Blanche (Libka) Rudolph. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Belinda Stout; brothers, Alan, Earl, and Norris; sisters, Verna Emerson, Georgia Eveslage, and Eula Rudolph; and granddaughter, Angelica Spicer.
Arvile is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Vicie Henson Rudolph; children, Tracie (Gary) Shireman, Tonya (Mark) Edwards, Kennith (Mary) Rudolph, Kim Spicer, Donna (Johnny) Jarboe, Sandi Rudolph, Jessica Stout, and Piper Stout; brother, Melvin (Betty) Rudolph; sisters, Virginia Haub, Darlene (Larry) Lang, Francis Stinnett, and Carol Smith; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
