Artye DuLaney, 70, passed away on Thursday, November 19, after a brief illness.
Artye is described by family and friends alike as the sweetest person they knew. She loved God, family/friends, the Louisville Cardinals, poetry, and bowling. She exemplified the meaning of love and positivity. She demonstrated her love towards others with intention and compassion. Artye was a member of Covenant of Faith Fellowship Ministries where she served diligently in several capacities, including Seasoned Youth Senior Ministry, Praise Team Member, and Greeter.
Artye is preceded in death by her husband, William Darryl DuLaney; grandson, Kameron Isaac Bullard; parents, Arthur and Noralee Walters; and her step-grandson, DaMani DuLaney.
She is survived by her daughter, Krista Bullard; brother, Reggie Walters (Barbara); sister, Michele W. Barnett (Randy); granddaughter, Kaelyn Bullard; step-sons, Andre and Derrick DuLaney; step-grandchildren, Kelsey, Bobby, Darrius, Keagan, and Kendall DuLaney; aunt, Belma McClaskey; her nieces and nephews, Shauna-Nicole, Bryan, Brent, and Ashley (Deven); great nephew, Jalen; great nieces, Joielle and Mahogany; and numerous loved ones and friends.
