Arthur Stafford

Arthur Stafford, age 102, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 21. Born in Elwood, IN. and a graduate of De Pauw University in Greencastle, IN, he had a lifelong career in hotel accounting, advancing to corporate headquarters as controller for Albert Pick Hotels, Sheraton Hotel Corporation, and Pebble Beach Properties. After retirement he was an avid gardener and enjoyed his hobby of crafting fine furniture. He was a constant figure of stability to his family.He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Agnes Payne Stafford; and his brother, Elmer.

Arthur is survived by his loving children, Janis (Rudy) Gimbrone, of Dayton, OH and David of Louisville; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a one great-great grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends.

Cremation was chosen as he wished. A celebration of life by the family will be held at a later date.
