Arthur B. Christon, 82, of Louisville, passed away on January 8, 2016. Arthur was born in Hazard, KY on April 24, 1933 to the late Alec and Mary Christon.
Arthur is survived by his daughter, Charity Lavonne Christon Dawson; sons, Carmichael Christon, and Wayne Douglas Christon; sister, Stella Ollinger; adopted children, Tiffany, Terrance, and Shevon Christon; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Walters Clement AME Zion Church (4641 Indian Trail, Louisville, KY 40213) with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service.
