Arson Thornsbury, Jr.

October 13, 1953 — January 17, 2019

Arson Thornsbury, Jr., age 65 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019. He was raised in Jeffersontown, Kentucky and was an Air Force Veteran. Arson was a former mechanic who worked on marine vessels. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arson, Sr. and Chloe Inice Mann Beard.

Arson is survived by his loving children, Ginny Licata (Johnny), Patricia Dillander (Neal), Laura Leigh (Narvel) and John Paul, Jr. (Janine); spouse for life and caregiver, Sandy Thornsbury; grandchildren, Dominick, Chelsi, Lil Neal, Chloe, Kayla, Dustin, Taylor and Brianna; great-grandchildren, Raelynn, Henry and Addisyn; siblings, Teresa Geoghegan (Buddy), Emzy Thornsbury (Lisa), Necil Quick (Greg), Tarsol Thornsbury (Pat) and BeeMee Jeffries (David); his aunt, Marie McCoy (Woody); many nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

A gathering to celebrate Arson's life will be 3 to 6 pm on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Military honors will be at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
