She was born on May 9, 1946 in Harlan, Kentucky to Taft and Adrana Finley. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sisters, Tennis Joan Johnson and Martina Pulley, Brothers, Stanley Finley and Gill Finley.
Arlene is survived by her loving Husband, John D. Nichols, Son, Leslie (Mikki) Phillips, Daughter, Renee (Chuck) Mitchell, Son, Ronald Edward Nichols, Daughter, Judy Carol Nichols, Brother, Taft (Doris) Finley, Jr., Sister, Quinnell (Richard) Henderson, Brother, Charles (Linda) Finley, Brother, Quinton (Doris) Finley, Sister, Wynette (Charles) Gordon, Brother, Darrell Wayne (Marva) Finley, Sister, Victoria (Robert) Logan, Grandchildren: Cya Lene Mitchell, Myles James Phillips, MyAna Elise Phillips, Ashleigh Nichols, John D. Nichols, II, and Jordanne Nichols, Great-Grandchild, Johory Nichols, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
A gathering for Arlene's family and friends will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Moore Temple Church of God in Christ, (2315 W. Broadway). A celebration of her life will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
