Arlene Francis (Markland) Lindig, 78, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024.

She was born on December 2, 1945 to the late Thomas Markland and Ruby Simpson Markland. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Lindig; and brother, Roy Lee Markland.

Arlene is survived by her children, Laura Pardon (Mark), Kevin Lindig (Connie), and Scott Lindig; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Norman Markland (Sandy); and sister, Connie Galdoz (Victor).

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Edwardsville (Tunnel Hill) Cemetery.
