Aremildie (Smith) "Millie" Edwards, 88, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020. Millie loved to travel, gamble, fish, and was known for being a good cook.
She was born on November 9, 1931 in Garrard, Kentucky to the late C.P. and Sudie (Hensen) Smith. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings, Mable Smith, Kelly Smith, and Bobby Smith.
Millie is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert Edwards; children, Earl (Alice) Smith, Wilma (Louis) Caudill, Lester (Paula) Smith, Eugene (Wanda) Smith; step-children, Debbie (Dr. Chuck Mayfield) Mayfield and Michael Pulliam; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Jessie Smith and Willard Smith.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane). Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Utica, Indiana.
