Archie Clarence Wilson, born September 24, 1939, in Rosine, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026. A respected and cherished member of his community, Archie’s life was marked by dedication, hard work, and a deep love for the outdoors.

Archie's early years were spent in Rosine, where he graduated from Horse Branch High School. He served honorably in the Army with the 169th Engineers at Fort Stewart, Georgia, demonstrating commitment and discipline that would guide him throughout his life.

Following his military service, Archie devoted 34 years to Ford Motor Company, specializing in Paint Repair. Among his proudest accomplishments was his work on the KTP Show jobs for Heavy Trucks, a testament to his skill and dedication to his craft.

Outside of his career, Archie was a man who found solace and joy in nature. He loved the woods and the outdoors, a passion reflected in his avid interest in squirrel hunting, fishing, and long walks in the woods. He also enjoyed visiting flea markets and walking his dogs, activities that brought him both peace and happiness.

Archie is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Carolyn Wilson, his son Jeffrey Wilson, and grandchildren Jack and Carolyn Cooper. They, along with all who knew him, will remember Archie for his steadfast character and love for life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Archie C. Wilson, his mother, Lorretta Daughtry Crain, and his daughter, Teresa Wilson. Their memories remain a cherished part of his legacy.

Archie Clarence Wilson’s life was one of service, both to his country and to his family, and a celebration of the simple pleasures found in nature. His legacy endures in the hearts of those who loved him and the community he touched so deeply.
