Anthony Elisco Ventus

Anthony Elisco Ventus (Tony) was born November 17, 1967, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of Edward Ventus and Wilhelmina Jefferies Ventus. Tony passed away on October 17, 2021. Tony accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized under the pastorage of Elder Anderson Culbreath at Tryed Stone Missionary Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He attended Goshen High School and Scarlet Oaks Vocational, where he studied Electronic and Robotics and graduated in 1986. He continued his education at University of Cincinnati in Computer Technology, where he obtained his degree and various certifications. He went on to become a Network Engineer for Xerox, Coca-Cola, Ciox Health Systems and Louisville Courier Journal. Tony was a 5th degree black belt in Taekwondo and Ninjutsu. He enjoyed racing and riding motorcycles, and hot cars. He always had the "Need 4 Speed". He also loved to Roller Skate. He decided 2 ½ years ago to settle down in Bardstown, Kentucky; where, he met the love of his life Dekita. They were married on June 12, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Wilhelmina Ventus.
He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife DeKita, Brother: Joseph H Smith Jr., Sister: Andrea R. Ellison, Aunt: Ruegenia Draper, Uncles: Raymond Jefferies, Jesse Sloan, & William Sloan, Daughters: Makayla, Mariah, Bonus Daughter: LeJanet Sosa, Bonus Son: Carrington Daughtery (Heather) Nephews: Shaun Ellison, Joseph H. Smith III (Carmille), Lamont Hawkins (Tara), Niece: Cynthia Childress, Bonus Grandkids: Mia Smith, Isabella Smith, Marckuz Alvarez, Mother-in-law: Virginia Green, Father-in-law: Archie Phipps and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-1pm with a celebration of Tony's life beginning at 1pm.
