Anthony Joseph Welsh

Anthony Joseph Welsh ,50, of Jeffersonville , Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015. He was born in Jeffersonville ,Indiana on May 11, 1964 to Timothy and Lorna Welsh. He was a member of the American Legion Post 3281 and VFW in Leavenworth, Indiana. Tony was a great mechanic and had the gift to gab around people. He enjoyed being around the fireplace and spending time with his family.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy and Lorna Welsh, sisters, Rosie Shipley and Judy Boyce. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Martha Welsh, children, Tiffany Welsh and Patrick Welsh, siblings, Tim Welsh, Terri Mayberry(Ernie), Tom Welsh(Karen), Jude Welsh, Lorna New(Kevin), Matt Welsh(Carol), Rita Pagan(Ed) and a host of nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 3-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Service will be on Friday February 6, 2015 at 11AM at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Kraft Graceland Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in care of the family to Martha Welsh.
