Anthony "Tony" E. Dreisbach lost his battle with cancer on January 14, 2021 at his Jeffersontown home.
Tony was born on September 28, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky. He ran the family Dreisbach Nursery, served 12 years in the Air National Guard, and retired as the Louisville Zoo Horticulturist. Tony is a Hall of Fame member of the Kentucky Nursery and Landscape Association. Tony loved to fish and to spend time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, of 60 years of marriage, Marie, children Michael (Mir), Patrick (Wendy), Daniel (Kristina), Sean (Amy), Shannon (Michael), 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
No funeral or memorial is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Louisville or the St. Jude Foundation.
