Anthony Lloyd Baynard, 69, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Anthony professed his faith in Jesus Christ at an early age. He possessed a love for music and children. Anthony enjoyed running in marathons and riding motorcycles and could be described as somewhat of a free spirit. He was always adventurous, and it could be said that he enjoyed life to its fullest.

He was born on December 28, 1949, in Greencastle, Indiana, to the late Walter II and Anna (Alvis) Baynard. Anthony was also preceded in death by his brothers, Walter III and Ricky.

Anthony is survived by his children, Tamara Baynard and Anthony Baynard (Odette); siblings, Timothy, Phyllis, Phillip, Emerson, Wayne, Barry, Frances, Patricia, Rosamary, Albert, Leon, and Janet; grandchildren, Jaren, Brianna, and Erica; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mount Tabor Cemetery in New Albany.
