Anna Lisa Sweet

Anna Lisa Sweet, 61, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Lisa enjoyed shopping, sewing, going on trips, bright flowers, animals, helping people as a nurse for 35 years, drawing, and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

She was born on January 4, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Lyda (Shoopman) Sweet. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Lisa is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Sweet and Emily Sweet; son, Alexander Klingsmith; grandchildren, AnnaBell, Aaron, Angel, Lillian, Damian, and Nicolas and Christine Brammer; siblings, Robin (Janice) Sweet, Theresa (Roger) Miller, Billy (Suzie) Sweet, and Danny Sweet; several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Lisa’s memory be made to donor's choice.
