Anna Marie (Wright) Sutton, 60, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021. Anna was a published author and loved writing, cooking, and helping and serving others.
She was born on May 10, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Florine (Fairley) and Saul Wright, Sr. Along with her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her sister, Angela Peden.
Anna is survived by her loving husband, Willie Sutton; children, April Jones, Frederick Jones, Angela (Christopher) Toler, Quincy (Natasha) Jones, Brittany Sutton, and Mariah Sutton; stepdaughter, Reneshia Jones; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Lorene McDonald, Shirley Redmond, and Saul Wright, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). A private graveside service and burial will follow at West Haven Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
