Anna "Becky" Semones

Anna “Becky” Elizabeth Westenhofer Semones, 77, passed away on August 15, 2025, in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Ahren’s Vocational High School, Class of 1967. She enriched the lives of many during her tenure as a teaching assistant at Blue Lick Elementary.

In addition to her parents, Richard Joseph and Juanita Westenhofer, she is preceded in death by her brother Richard Joseph Westenhofer, Jr.

Becky is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Charles “Butch”, daughters Kelly Semones and Courtney (Richard) Holmes; grandchildren Aidan Joseph Holmes, Grace Elizabeth Probus, and Lillian Maureen Holmes; her brother John “Jack” (Cheryl) Westenhofer, sister Margaret “Mickey” (Dewey) Johnson, sister-in-law Mary Ann Westenhofer, and many loving of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Becky’s life will be held from noon – 5:00 p.m. on September 27, 2025, at Club K9, 9316 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY 40299

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to Louisville Metro Animal Services or the Kentucky Humane Society.
