Anna Marie (Mellick) Preston

Anna Marie (Mellick) Preston, 64, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was always full of life and enjoyed listening to country music and spending time outdoors. Anna was caring, compassionate, and loved the work she did at local hospitals and nursing homes.

She was born on June 13, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Carolyn (Vogel) Knowles and the late Robert Mellick. In addition to her mother, Anna is survived by her children, Charity Morrow (Thomas), Lisa Carroll (Paul), Jason Preston (Kayla), and Kevin Daley; brothers, David Mellick (Denise) and Jack Mellick (Donna); former husband, Norman "Mike" Preston; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Anna's wish was to be cremated, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care.
