Anna Viola (Snitko) Murdock, 90, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021. She was an active member of the New Albany congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She was born on December 1, 1930 in South Hampton, New York to Nikifor and Margaret (Duda) Snitko. Anna is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Francis Murdock; children, Fran Dorton (David "Pete"), Danny Murdock (Mary); grandchildren, Tamra Million, Joe Murdock (Liz), Clint Murdock (Natasha); and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Landis, Emma Landis, Carmyn Murdock, Tommy Murdock, Michael Soots, Ally Soots, Mason Morris and Waylon Murdock.
Cremation was chosen following Anna's wishes. A reception of family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a memorial service taking place at 4:00 p.m.
