Anna Louise(Holland) Scott

Anna Louise (Holland) Scott, 70, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. She was a member of Howard Chapel Baptist Church in New Albany. Anna was an excellent cook, avid reader, and had many hobbies which included bingo, playing cards, and working puzzle books.

She was born on May 30, 1944 in New Albany, Indiana to the late John and Leona (Barbour) Holland. Anna was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Scott, Sr.; son, Ray Scott; and grandson, Arthur "JR" Hays.

Anna is survived by her children, Theresa Honey, Arthur Scott, Jr. (Leah), Sidney Scott (Mary), Anthony Scott (Gayle), Christopher Scott (Mindy), Melissa Scott (James Taylor), Leona Scott, Shannon Graham, Anna Valentine; 85 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many good friends and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Westhaven Cemetery in New Albany.
