Anna Mae (Taylor) Hampton, 67, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Although Anna never had any children of her own, she took on a motherly role with many people she cared for. Anna will be remembered for her love of Elvis Presley and serving the community of Southern Indiana at Pizza King for over 25 years.
She was born on February 1, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Claudie and Floria (Hill) Taylor.
Anna is survived by her Sister, Martha Parnell; her loving Companion, Jeff Jessie; Nieces, Bobbi Jo (Randy) Abney, Whitnei (Tony) Taylor, and Coli (Anthony) Irvin; 6 Great-nephews; 2 Great-nieces; and 2 Great-great-nieces.
Her Celebration of Life will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 27, 2019, at the Utica Community Building (4th Street, Utica, IN). Cremation was chosen following Anna's wishes.
