Anna Charlene Estes
June 25, 1926 — October 26, 2017
Charlene Estes, age 91, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017. She was a devoted member and served many years in service in the churches she attended. She loved to minister to shut-ins and the elderly. Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; and her parents, Howard Allen and Mattie Barber Pope.
Charlene is survived by her daughter, Linda Wright (Larry); son, Gary Lavetta (Charlene); grandsons, Steve D. Wright (Suzanne) and Jeff A. Wright; 3 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday, October 30, 2017 and after 9:30am Tuesday, October 31st, until time of her celebration of life at 11am Tuesday, all at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, Kentucky. Burial will follow at 2pm in the Bedford Cemetery.
