Anna Josephine (Jo) Baptiste

Anna Josephine "Jo" Baptiste, age 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Born on February 19, 1939, in Bardstown, Kentucky, Miss B. dedicated her life to the care and service of others as a devoted nurse for over fifty years. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her career, as she found joy in tending her plants and, most importantly, cherishing every moment with her beloved daughter, Joanna.

Jo's life was a testament to love and compassion, touching the hearts of family and friends alike. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Ada Burnside, and her siblings, Benjamin, Roy, and Helen. Her memory lives on through her daughter, Joanna M. Baptiste, and the many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who remain to celebrate her legacy.
