Ann Allphin, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 8, 2016. She was born on June 22, 1923, Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada to the late Alexander and Josephine (Savoie) Foulem. Ann met her future husband, the late Robert Hance Allphin, in upstate New York when he was stationed there with the Navy. Robert and Ann moved to Louisville after he was discharged from the Navy.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Hance Allphin Jr.
Ann is survived by her children, Bobby Ann (Ted) Stanton, Dr. Bryan (Bonnie) Allphin, and Jo Helen Allphin-Powers; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Memorial Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church on August 28th, 2016 at 8:00 am.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
