Anita Louise Gillespie, age 73 of Louisville, passed away on Friday November 13, 2020. She was born on September 20, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William and Florence Shoemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Gillespie; children, Traci Mattingly and Terry Walter Engle.
Anita is survived by her children, Timothy Engle Sr, Timothy Gillespie, and Keith Gillespie;, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings, Sheila Lambert, William Shoemaker, Jr., Stuart Shoemaker, Edward Harper, Raymond Shoemaker, and Florence Casiembie; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation and funeral services will be private at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions 235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens,279 Landis Ln, Mt. Washington, KY 40047.
