Ania Mae Cornelius

Ania Mae (Tootie) Cornelius, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020. Ania enjoyed cooking, planting, family and most of all she loved to debate. She wanted to feed everyone that wanted to eat. She loved doing hair , her fashion , her smell goods, and she loved to debate with her long time dude BJ (fo-sho). She Loved her dog Annie. She was a Life long Caregiver. At the light of her struggle she always kept her smile and she was a strong woman she would never bend, break, or fold. She loved her Cubs.

She was born on August 18, 1951 in Cadiz, Kentucky to Edgar and Esterlene (Turner) Cornelius. She is preceded in death by her Father, Edgar Lee Cornelius, Mother, Esterlene (Big Momma) Cornelius, Sister, Jennie V. Cornelius, Sister, Joeanne Cornelius, Brother, Adrian Cornelius.

Ania is survived by her loving family, Son, Bankie O. Williams, Jr., Son, Anthony (Jennifer) Williams, Grandchildren, Brionna Gray, Chellsea Bell, Third Bell, Shanevia Williams, Annia Williams, Anthony Williams , Jr., Dominique Grimes, Great-Grandchildren, 5, Long Time friend and companion, Buford Jones, Sisters, Kathline (Michael) Dixon, Regina Whilhite, Brothers, James Cornelius, Tommy Cornelius, Ernest Cornelius, Phillip Wayne Cornelius. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish her memory.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Ania's memory be made to Ania Foundation.
