In Loving Memory of Angela Gagel

Angela Gagel, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on August 26th, 2026 at the age of 63 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Born on December 14th, 1963 in Louisville, KY, Angela was the daughter of Leroy and Gereldine Reeves. Throughout her life, she was known for her vibrant personality, fierce loyalty, captivating smile and the love she gave so freely to those around her.

Angela was a devoted wife to her husband of 39 years, Terry Gagel. She took great pride in her family, especially in her role as a mother and grandmother. She especially cherished her time with her twelve grandchildren, who knew her by “Mimi,” creating memories that will remain with them for a lifetime. Her grace, compassion, and strength touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She devoted many years as a General Manager at Steel Technologies but the most time consuming job was General Manager of Terry.

She is survived by her husband Robert (Terry) Gagel; children Shawn Gagel (Elizabeth), Casey Gagel, Josh Gagel (Susan), Chris Evans (Ali); Grandchildren: Allie McBroom (Josh), Bailey Dericks (Cody), Cobey Gagel, Sydney Gagel, Garret Evans, Collin Evans, Trenton Gagel, Vivian Gagel, Colton Gagel, Victoria Gagel, Violet Gagel, and Valor Gagel; three great-grandchildren; and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Geraldine Reeves.

Though her absence will leave an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, her family finds comfort in the countless memories she gave them and in the love she leaves behind. Her greatest legacy will always be the family she loved so deeply.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Owl Creek Country Club.

Angela will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew her.
