Angela E. "Angie" Thompson, 45, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 18, 2016.

Angie was born on October 23, 1970, Omaha, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Bassett.

Angie is survived by her husband, William Thompson; children, Tyler Eric Case and Justin Nathaniel Thompson; parents, James and Georgia Bassett; brother, David (Amanda) Bassett; father and mother-in-law, Tim and Linda Thompson; and a host of family and friends.

A Gathering will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville) with her Memorial Service following immediately.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
