Andrew Lewis Tempel, 43, of Louisville, passed away on May 29, 2017. Andy was born in Louisville on May 24, 1974 to Louie Tempel and Judy Collett. He graduated from Iroquois High School in 1991 and worked as a welder and maintenance technician, most recently for Jeffersontown High School. He loved working on cars and motorcycles, he could fix anything. Andy had a big heart and would help anybody.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louie Tempel and his sister, Candice Tempel. He leaves three children, Candice (John), Angel and Michael Tempel; mother, Judy Collett; grandson, Ethan Garren; and brother, Chris Tempel (Tiffany).
Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272) with visitation from 4:00 pm until time of service.
