The Man, The Myth, The Legend
Our Loveable Gentle Giant
Andrew passed suddenly Saturday morning, June 17th. He is survived by his wife, Gina Harper, who deeply misses her handsome husband and love of her life!
Born to Leander (Passed 2014) and Jewel Krebs, brother to Mark (Linda), Douglas (Passed 1985), Ronald (Cindy), Russell (Sheilah), Phillip, Keith, and Lisa Stuht (Chris).
He was extremely loving and proud of his six children, Katerri Richardson (Hayden), Andrew Jr.(passed 1986),Carolyn Wedel (Kevin), Joseph Krebs (Megan), Timothy Krebs and Kimberly Krebs (Nathan). Andy also had a deep love for his six grandchildren who were crazy about him as well. Uncle to 1 Nephew Ronald Jr.(passed 1981) 6 nieces Tiffany, Vicki Lynn, Dana, Kaylyn, Emily, Kyle, & Julianna as well as Numerous Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. Andy's In Laws, Roy and Brenda Wright and Matt Harper quickly grew to love Andy and will miss him dearly.
Andy grew up in Hartford, Wisconsin, graduated from Slinger High School class of 1984 and received his Electrical Engineering Degree from Waukesha County Technical College in 1987.
Andy was employed with Humana, as Manager of Print Technology and Services. During his time at Humana, he enjoyed his Allmond Avenue team daily and forging strong connections and friendships within the entire Humana Family.
He was a larger than life personality that never met a stranger. Living his life with such joy, lots of laughter, smiles and hugs. Loyal to the core and with an unstoppable desire to be there for anyone that may have needed him. A man you could always count on to be there for you. The world can always use one more kind person, and Andy was one of those people.
He enjoyed fun times traveling with his wife, sharing alone time as newlyweds just beginning their journey together. Hanging with friends and family, heading out to WI to pitch in for garlic season at the Krebs Family Farm. Mostly likely he was playing around, having fun and distracting everyone. Gotta love him! His passion for playing music was "off the charts" and always looked forward to JAM nights. His time on his "MACHINE" were some of his happiest times, taking him on wonderful adventures, sights and sounds, and all out good times! He would grin from ear to ear and beamed from behind his childlike eyes with excitement upon his return.
He would want us to spend time with Family, take a walk on the beach with your loved ones and make a toast to enduring friendships lifelong and beyond.
Andy, you left us far too soon and although the pain of losing you is deep~
Our hope for you is that you are on a wonderful adventure and that we will see you again to get one of those big Andy hugs! I miss you my love~ Kisses! We all love you and we will miss you - more than words could ever express.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), with a Celebration of Andy's Life to start at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Andy's wishes were to have memorial donations in honor of him, made to The Louisville Zoo, in lieu of flowers.
