Amy Lucille (Shake) Petty

Amy Lucille (Shake) Petty, 63, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 30, 2026. A dedicated member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, Amy's life was a testament to her faith and family.

Amy was born on January 25, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Antionette "Toni" (Schroeder) Shake and the late Ralph Shake, Jr. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Michael Petty.

Cherished by her family, Amy is survived by her mother, Antionette; her children, Sean Petty and Shannon Jones (Scott); her grandchildren, Mia Williams-Jones, Charlie Petty, Daxton Petty, Sadie Jones, and Elleri Petty; and her brother, Ralph "Tom" Shake, III (Julie).

Friends and family are invited to remember Amy during a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in New Albany, continuing on Monday from 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home, followed by interment at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
