Amy Elizabeth Glasscock, 46, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020.
She was born on September 23, 1973 in Lebanon, Kentucky to Thomas Glasscock and Lois Luckett.
Amy was a 1991 graduate of DuPont Manual High School and a 22 year employee of Fazoli's on Dixie Hwy (The Bread Lady). She volunteered at Sun Valley Senior Citizens Center and was a participant at Heartsong Adult Day Center. She was a member of Headliners Brain Injury Support Group, Special Olympics Bowler at Dixie Bowl and a five year attendee of "The Shine" disabilities prom at Southeast Christian Church. She was an attendee of the Tim Tebow Disability Prom at Woodland Baptist Church and a recipient of the Todd Gregory AIM Award.
Amy (Sis, Aunt Amy, Bump, The Bread Lady) had an unconditional love for her family and friends. She lived life to its fullest and expounded on her "abilities". She was an avid reader and UK Wildcat fan. We were all blessed to witness her strength and positive attitude.
Amy was honored to have her wish to be a Kentucky Organ Donor Alliance granted. Amy gave the gift of life to four organ recipients and improved the quality of life for numerous eye and tissue recipients. She left this life making the world a better place, always helping others and a with a big smile on her face.
Amy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Preston & Amy Luckett, paternal grandparents, Harold & Elizabeth Glasscock.
Amy is survived by her loving mother, Lois Luckett (Michael) O'Keefe, father, Thomas H. (Bessie) Glasscock, Sr., brother, Thomas H. (Alanna) Glasscock, Jr., brother, Shane (Jessica) O'Keefe, brother, Damon (Christy) O'Keefe, brother, Carl (Charlene) Hardin, sister, Bobbie Carol (Huston) Brown, her little Yorkie, Zoe, special friends, Chris Woodcock, Amy, Linda, Marty, T.J., Lisa, Cheryl, Drew & Ray.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road.
