Friends and family alike found solace in her presence, for she was not merely a companion; she was a reliable confidante, always there to lend an ear or a helping hand. A visitation will be Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 4p,-8pm with a celebration of Amelia's life beginning at 6pm.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Sauer.
Amelia leaves behind to cherish her memories are her husband, Ron Rockey; children, Tiffany Chumbley, Jessica (Matthew) Miller, Sandra (Jennifer Wall) Rucci, Alyssa Rucci and Andrew (Monica Wilson) Rockey; grandchildren, Vontez, Jordan, Savannah, Matthew, Koben, Karmaleigh and Harmony; siblings, Karen, Helen and Henry and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
