Amelia Fay Durrett, 54, of Pewee Valley, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021.

She was born on January 29, 1967 in Pewee Valley, Kentucky to the late Marvin T. and Alice G. (Durham) Durrett. She is also preceded in death by her brother-in-law Juwan Johnson.

Amelia is survived by her sister, Elishia Durrett Johnson, nieces Samara, Iyana, Zyon, Lyric, Naala, Zaisha, Halle, nephews Christofer, William (Doots), aunts Doris Lee, Fannie Thornton, Carolyn Hinkle and a host of cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Pewee East Cemetery.
