Amanda Elizabeth Richmer, 35, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Amanda was a baptized member of Parkway Southern Baptist Church in New Albany where she loved to participate in many ministries and Bible study. She loved painting and completing diamond art work, but enjoyed nothing more than caring for her home and family.

She was born on March 21, 1985, in New Albany, Indiana, to Brenda (Staser) Greathouse and the late Daniel Richmer. Along with her father, Amanda is preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert D. (Kathleen) Staser; and grandmother, Hazel (Herschel) Briscoe.

Along with her mother, Amanda is survived by her loving sons, Damon and Noah Vaughn; significant other, Charles Melton; stepfather, John Greathouse; aunt, Robin (James) Swartz; uncle, Arthur (Tammy) Staser; her Memaw Charlene Clifford; and many extended family members and friends.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, visitation and service will be kept private. Masks must be worn if you have been asked by the family to attend.

The family requests that contributions in Amanda's memory be made to the Parkway Southern Baptist Church for the Shoe Box Ministry.
