Alyne Jones

Alyne Jones, age 81, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was a member of the Elk Creek Baptist Church. Alyne was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lillie Bradford; her sisters, Evelyn Burks and Lucille Bradford; and her grandchild, Craig Melvin.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Edgar; children, Edgar Jones, Jr. (Rhonda), Charles Jones (Gwendolyn) Timothy Jones (Wanda), Wanda Melvin and Mitchell Andre' Jones (Vara); 16 grandchildren; fur-grandchildren, Simon, Oliver and Wally; brother, Edward Bradford, Jr.; sisters, Natholee Harris and Fredia Cardwell; and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be 2-6pm Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Graveside ceremony will be 1pm on Monday, October 24th at Middletown Historic Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Baptist Hospital East Pallative Care and Hosparus for their excellent care of Mrs. Jones.
