Alvin Franklin Collins, 60, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Alvin was a member of Emmaus Road Church and loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

He was born on August 30, 1958 in Burkesville, Kentucky to the late Junior and Hettie (Guthrie) Collins.

Alvin is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Elizabeth "Kay" Collins; sister, Nancy (John) Wimsatt; and several nieces, nephews, and friends..

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Alvin's wishes.

The family requests that contributions in Alvin's memory be made to Hosparus-the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana or the American Cancer Society.
