Altha Lee Hutton

Altha Lee (Mumphrey) Hutton, 94, of Louisville, KY was called home on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. She was born in Natchitoches, LA on December 9, 1920. She worked in the Dietary Department at Our Lady of Peace for 20 years and a member of Watson Memorial Church. Altha enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Delores A. Thomas and granddaughter, Tamva D. Southerling. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Ann Hutton-Whitlock, 7 grandchildren, Deeatra A. Harper (Robert), Delores J. Johnson (Clifford), Alvia L. Allen (Michael), Alvin G. Thomas Jr., Migail T. Hutton (Dorothy), Tamara D. Webb (Gerald), great-grandchildren, Robert Trey Harper, Tia Leanne Harper, and a host of great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 10 to 11 Am with service to follow at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150) with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY 40205).
