Alma Willis, 97, of Louisville passed away on January 30, 2015.
Alma was born in Henry County, KY on October 8, 1917, the daughter of James and Mary Aldridge. In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by three sons, Horace Downey, Wayne Downey, and Billy Hughes; three daughters-in-law, Donna Downey, Rita Downey, and Martha Hughes.
Survivors include her children, Mark Willis (Kathy), Edye Rivera, Larry Downey, Howard Downey, Max Hughes, and Steve Hughes; 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy).
