Alma M. Crum, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
She was born on October 1, 1938 in Rothemburg, Germany to the late Robert and Helina (Hiller) Mueller. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Crum, sons William J. Gernert III, Barry Gernert, brother Arnold Mueller and step-son Mike Crum.
Alma retired from the Methodist Hospital and the Visiting Nurses Association and had a great love for all dogs. She was an avid cook, baker and made sure any and everyone was taken care of.
Alma is survived by her son, Patrick Gernert (Natalie), step-son, Ricky Crum, brothers Hugo Mueller (Cindy), Guenther Mueller (Cindy), grandson, William J. Gernert, IV, granddaughters Jennifer Coslow (Patrick), Rebekkah Wood (Elizabeth), Janel Colepaugh, Diora Hewson (Clay), great-granddaughters Shannon Howell, Sidney Donaghey and great-grandsons Jaxson Donaghey, Dylan Coslow and Oldin Gernert.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 2:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm at LaGrange Assembly of God (2109 West Highway 146 LaGrange, KY 40031)
The family requests that contributions in Alma's memory be made to Friendship Health and Rehab.
