Allie Marie (Edmonson) Leffler, 87, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018.
She was born on July 7, 1931, in Edmonson County, Kentucky, to the late Avery Edmonson and Cillar (Simmons) Critchlow. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Luther Keith Leffler; 4 sisters; and 1 brother.
Allie is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Luther "Bud" Leffler, Jr.; daughter, Marsha Sowders; grandchildren, Kirk Sowders, Clinton Sowders, and Rita "Susie" Cates (Jody); 4 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evans Landing Cemetery in Elizabeth.
