Allen Bard

Allen Bard, known to many as Al, passed away on October 25, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on August 18, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Al will be remembered for his outgoing and friendly nature, his great sense of humor, and the unique spirit he brought to those around him. He was always willing to help his family, and that generosity of heart was a lasting part of who he was. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and comfort to the people who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his brothers, Jack Bard and his wife, Nena, Rex Bard and his wife, Frances, and Bill Bard and his wife, Carol, and his brother-in-law Rodie McCoy. He also leaves behind the enduring love of his family, who will continue to cherish his memory and hold close the many moments they shared with him.

Al was preceded in death by his father, William Bard, Sr.; his mother, Mary Bard; his sister, Linda McCoy; and his brother, Guy Bard.

Allen Bard will be remembered with love for his kindness, his humor, and his devotion to family. His memory will remain a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Services will be held privately.
