Aliene Kessler, 89, of West Point, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017. She was born in West Point, Kentucky on December 12, 1927 to the late Will and Rener Barnes. She was retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kessler and two brothers and two sisters.
Aliene is survived by her sister, Dorothy (Elmer) Wheatley; a nephew, Robert Whelan; a niece and caretaker, Janice Clouse; and a host of other family members and friends.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in South Louisville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
