Alice Lynn (Griffin) Thompson

Alice Lynn (Griffin) Thompson, 72, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019. Alice was a gifted gardener and enjoyed tending to her roses. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Alice was known to be a little sassy and will be remembered for her loyalty and her strong way of loving others.

She was born on September 3, 1946, in New Albany, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her Father, Henry Marshall Griffin.

Alice is survived by her Children, Marshall (Crystal) Thompson, Tina (Dennis) Belcher, Judy Woodward, April (Matt) Thompson, Crystal Thompson, and Jamie Thompson; Mother, Anna Ross Griffin; Siblings, Richard (Nancy) Griffin, Marshall Dallas Griffin, Gloria Faye Schindler, and Curtis (Tina) Griffin; 32 grandchildren; and her many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Memorial Service will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Alice's wishes.
