Alice Fay Jackson-Barton, 69, of Louisville, KY passed away on February 6, 2015. She retired from Civil Service and was honorably discharged from the Army.

Alice was born on February 8, 1945, in Louisville, KY to the late Ted Jackson, Sr., and Ruby Pearl Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Janet Marie Bennett, and Ted Jackson, Jr.

Alice is survived by her children, Myra Barton, Rhonda Poynter, Billy Barton, Jr. (Jennifer), Penny Meredith; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Nancy Fuchs (Richard), Virginia Rymer, Carol Jackson, Ronnie Jackson, Jimmy Jackson (Sandy), and Kenny Jackson.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel.
