Alex Brock, 27, of Louisville, passed away on May 24, 2017. Alex was born in Louisville on August 19, 1989 to Eli and Beverly Brock. He graduated from Seneca High School in 2007. He was scientific minded and did a lot of reading and research in that field. He loved Marvel movies and could explain all the intricate details of the stories and characters. Alex's passion for anime and art drove his desire to become a game developer.

In addition to his parents, Alex is survived by his sister, Mary Brock; nephew, Braylen Wright; step-mother, Lisa Brock; aunts and uncles, Steve and Vicki Metzger, Mike and Paula Metzger, Frank and Diane Brock; and cousins, Wesley Metzger, Maddie Metzger, Kristin Seaman (Michael), Miles Seaman, Ben Metzger, Matt Metzger, Drew Metzger, Audrey Metzger, Jared Metzger, Danny Earl Metzger (Kashara), Patrick Metzger, Nathan Metzger, Magnum Brock, Dillon Brock and Dawson Brock.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, May 29, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Dr., Louisville, KY 40243). Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church (5915 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40219).
