Alberta S. Pontius, 71, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 13, 1946.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Albert L. Stewart, and mother, Laura Mae (Henry) Schaff.
Alberta is survived by her daughter, Laura (Rick) Tinnell, granddaughter, Ashley (Justin) Tinnell; and a host of other family members and friends who will greatly miss her.
Alberta was a proud Mary Kay Consultant and very active in her church.
Mass will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 28, 2017 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church. 8110 St Andrews Church Rd, Louisville, Ky. 40258. A celebration of life gathering will follow from 12:30pm until 3:30pm also at the church in Moore Hall.
Expression of love may take the form of donations to the church.
